~26k. There is/was a recall. I just chose less hassle of doing them myself instead of trying to get in to the dealer. I'm pretty rural, commute far and didn't feel like having to find a good time, worrying about a loaner vehicle, etc. Took me less than hour start to finish - with a break in...
Ooof! I have had this issue! Bugger was eating my hiking snacks that I'd leave stashed in the car, and chewed some of the foam spacers where the spare sits.
Changed my cabin air filter a week and a half ago, and shewee!! This! The new K&N has a big rubber "boot" housing that will keep...
Brakes changed! Maintenance mode was easy to toggle on and off. Longest part of the whole thing was jacking the dang car up with the jack they give you. Backed out of the driveway, no squeal. ? it fixed it.
Rears. There is. But finding time to get into the dealer, and how long they keep my car, etc isn't worth it. I'd rather 60 bucks for the pads and the halfhour to change them on a weekend than the dealer service headache.
Ahh, see that here. Well. That could have been interesting...

Has anyone self changed their brake pads? I've decided I don't feel like dealing with my Ford service department, and don't have the ability to give up my car for the time period for them to fix them...
Sooo, are they screw-in calipers? Normal push-in? Wondering how difficult of a job I'm...
Got my first Friday. Free ding repairs through Progressive. Appointment on Wednesday morning - Safelite coming to my work - hopefully it gets repaired before it spreads!
Brown Betty.
My Black Juke was Black Betty...and Black Betty had a child bam-ba-lam...
and she's brown...and gone wild :crackup:
BB=Baby Bronco=Big Bend=Brown Betty.
My dealer showed my pricing (September) with the 4XX some dollar mark-up from invoice that Ford rolled out sometime after I ordered in March, and invoiced in July. I balked and told them it wasn't what we'd agreed to in March on the "Preview order" form. They called the manger - he said I was...
Went the plast-dip route. LOVED the look - 1st go on the back. Did it 3 times on the front. Couldn't get it to stay adhered at the edges when I removed the excess. It would pull away and leave a bit of white. My OCD hated it. I like the vinyl less, but it is at least consistent in the edge. I...
Thanks! I did my back and front this weekend, but the adherence on the front was spotty and my OCD couldn't take the small bits of white showing through. Tried 3 times... Back was a one time shot. Just curious. Looks great!
Hah! I've looked at rod holders. I ordered the CMS system specifically with my flyrods in mind. I can stick them between it and the back seat and don't have to worry about them! ...There's just so much more room which means I just have to get more gear I reckon :crackup:
