  1. Changing Brake Pads - Any tips

~26k. There is/was a recall. I just chose less hassle of doing them myself instead of trying to get in to the dealer. I'm pretty rural, commute far and didn't feel like having to find a good time, worrying about a loaner vehicle, etc. Took me less than hour start to finish - with a break in...
  2. Changing Brake Pads - Any tips

The FoMoCo. Couldn't find aftermarket. Rockauto had the best deal on them, ~30 bucks cheaper than Ford. BRF1954.
  3. Rat/mouse problem

Ooof! I have had this issue! Bugger was eating my hiking snacks that I'd leave stashed in the car, and chewed some of the foam spacers where the spare sits. Changed my cabin air filter a week and a half ago, and shewee!! This! The new K&N has a big rubber "boot" housing that will keep...
  4. Changing Brake Pads - Any tips

Brakes changed! Maintenance mode was easy to toggle on and off. Longest part of the whole thing was jacking the dang car up with the jack they give you. Backed out of the driveway, no squeal. ? it fixed it.
  5. Changing Brake Pads - Any tips

Rears. There is. But finding time to get into the dealer, and how long they keep my car, etc isn't worth it. I'd rather 60 bucks for the pads and the halfhour to change them on a weekend than the dealer service headache.

Ahh, see that here. Well. That could have been interesting... https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/setting-parking-brake-to-maintenance-mode.4483/#post-76166
  7. Changing Brake Pads - Any tips

Has anyone self changed their brake pads? I've decided I don't feel like dealing with my Ford service department, and don't have the ability to give up my car for the time period for them to fix them... Sooo, are they screw-in calipers? Normal push-in? Wondering how difficult of a job I'm...
  8. Rock ding on the windshield yet?

Got my first Friday. Free ding repairs through Progressive. Appointment on Wednesday morning - Safelite coming to my work - hopefully it gets repaired before it spreads!
  9. Whats your BS's name and why

  10. Brake Squeal (in Reverse)

Yup. Was very confused considering how new. Only time I notice any noise. Backing out of the driveway in the morning.

  12. Palm Coast Dealer Stole My Badlands

My dealer showed my pricing (September) with the 4XX some dollar mark-up from invoice that Ford rolled out sometime after I ordered in March, and invoiced in July. I balked and told them it wasn't what we'd agreed to in March on the "Preview order" form. They called the manger - he said I was...
  13. Let's Talk Rear Hatch Badges

Thanks. I'll keep it in mind next go. Didn't have that issue with the back though and did the same thing.
  14. Let's Talk Rear Hatch Badges

Went the plast-dip route. LOVED the look - 1st go on the back. Did it 3 times on the front. Couldn't get it to stay adhered at the edges when I removed the excess. It would pull away and leave a bit of white. My OCD hated it. I like the vinyl less, but it is at least consistent in the edge. I...
  15. What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

Thanks! I did my back and front this weekend, but the adherence on the front was spotty and my OCD couldn't take the small bits of white showing through. Tried 3 times... Back was a one time shot. Just curious. Looks great!
  16. What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

Did you buy new black letters for the front? I see yours aren't vinyl overlayed...
  17. Chances of my Bronco arriving early?

Very likely! Mine took 21 days to a small rural dealer in Southern Ohio.
  18. OFFICIAL KODIAK BROWN Bronco Sport Thread

Anyone with a KB Sport plastidipped the white branding decals?
  19. Waiting room

Hah! I've looked at rod holders. I ordered the CMS system specifically with my flyrods in mind. I can stick them between it and the back seat and don't have to worry about them! ...There's just so much more room which means I just have to get more gear I reckon
