Despite my overall satisfaction with Sanderson Ford and their service team, I absolutely despise the effect that AI and automation is having on their workflow.
I had my Bronco Sport in this morning from 7:30 to 8:10 to have the instrument cluster recall issue fixed. This evening I get the...
Absolutely. It's a free-standing little diner on the Sanderson campus. It's open M-F from like 7am to 2pm.
They used to stream the IHeartRadio's '50s station in the diner, but this morning it was all '60s music. Still a quite enjoyable experience.
As I've said elsewhere, many of these features are not necessary from the drop, but are pretty convenient once you discover them and understand how they help you. And over time, they become "necessary" in your mind.
For example, the CarPlay (and I assume Android Auto) go a long way towards...
I have used the wireless phone charging and found it pretty "hit and miss". I typically keep my phone in my pocket anyway and take advantage of wireless CarPlay.
The CarPlay feature is one that I consider "must have". My music. My nav. Text and calls on the info screen. And, as you say, saves...
The problem with this is that "the very best parts that you really wanted" is absolutely subjective. My list will be different from yours, and there's no way to pick and choose at a level granular enough to make us all happy.
Update done. In and out of the Sanderson Ford service center in 48 minutes.
The longest part of the process was waiting for the response/confirmation code from Ford.
Prices are up a bit (aren’t they up everywhere), but the food is good. Then again, you gotta work pretty hard to screw up eggs, bacon and hash browns. 🤪
And the ‘60s music is playing now. Love the nostalgia.
I guess I'm wondering about the point of this post.
There is nothing on this list that I need, and very little that I could not live without. However, these are safety and convenience items, and IMO all fall into the "nice to have" category.
Auto start/stop is the lone exception. IMO, it's a...
Grandson’s surgery is complete. Femur break has healed, menisci are good - no significant damage. ACL, MPFL and MCL all repaired. Overall a very positive outcome. Appreciate the prayers.
I paid just over $5K cash difference between my trade for my '25 Big Bend. Put it on a zero interest credit card at the dealer. I went home and paid the card off from savings. Life is good without payments!
Hardly hurt at all. Not even 4 months later, savings has been replentished.
