A new dentist bought the practice I worked in. She who would claim cavities where there were none on the x-rays. Drill 'em and fill 'em. Very bad. When I caught on, before I left spent two weeksI telling my patients to go to another dentist for a 'second opinion.' She'd drill teeth in mouths...
I've had several cars. Not that many compared to some here. I usually keep them until they die. Or, in the case of my little 2005 Honda, until I'm worried that they won't fair well in a collision. Which is why I bought my Bronco Sport. Age makes you worry about safety I guess.
Car with the best...
Jon, Came here to check on you today and was happy to find an update from you. I'm so grateful you have found good care. Fewer safety worries for you and three squares a day without having to deal with preparing it yourself. I think of you often.
❤
I feel like those Saabs used to be standard New England equipment before Subaru. By the time I could think about buying one, they were owned by Subaru, so I just went with the Subie. I still see them around occasion. Legendary.
I love my heated seats. Never had them before. I really enjoy that the heat goes up the back as well. I extra love my heated steering wheel.
Manchester VT is adorable. Love that town!
As a 1.5 owner I like these threads. Keeps reinforcing my decision to go with the 1.5 over the 2.0! I read every one. Repetitive redundancies abundantly abounding make me happy and content I guess.
I love my "little" baby bronco, but I can barely get it in the garage. I'd have to leave a 'big' bronco in the driveway which would necessitate moving cars all the time. When it snows, I wonder how many people will bother to clean the roof of that larger, higher car? Or what will happen if that...
NJ to FL is quite a haul. I've done it myself back in the day. Thing about driving to FL is when you cross the border you are only halfway there! Sorry for the reason, but glad to see you are making the best of it. Love my OBX. Super comfy, plenty of highway punch for me.
Loved reading about your road trip, and the cross bar adventure as well. Great write up! Became obsessed with the Bronco Sport after renting one out west. A great vehicle.
Thank you for posting this. I do have the manual, and keep meaning to read it. I tried to program the universal garage door opener and failed. I do need to dig into it.
Hmm perhaps the car thought I wasn't alert enough in the Adorondaks? Those curvy roads sometimes beget a bit of crossing into...
I love this post! I just made my first road trip in my OB. Loved it. My dog loved it. Just a really fun vehicle. So nice to own after years of just the bare bones, practical Honda sedan! Every day I drive it I love it more. Great pictures too.
Forgot to mention --if you can believe it after the novel I wrote above--
I drove out West to Rochester in rain, all the way. The car performed very well in those conditions, I never did use the slippery mode, although I did once during a previous interstate drive in the rain. I am going to...
Well, here is the update! I LOVE MY BRONCO SPORT. I've driven about 1000 miles since I bought it and have gotten used to the shimmy of the hood, and driving something is considerably more bulky than my little 2005 Honda Civic. I have managed to park it in our tiny garage, which was a huge worry...
How frustrating! I wouldn't have thought gum would count either!
My mother had Alzheimer's too. When I went through my Cancer diagnosis and treatment, I didn't tell her either. A wise choice, but a hard one. You never know what will stick in their brains and what won't. News like that could...
