I had experienced hydroplanning with my Pirellis at any speed above 45mph, not the best tires for wet conditions. Looking forward for swapping them. Thinking on Geolager g105 or Cooper. Are Sumitomo any good?
I live in Puerto Rico, where we get some rain, specialy June 1rst-November 30st, hurricane season. I drve a Badlands with the Pirellis. This is the first time ever to experience hydroplaning in my 39y driving. Considering Geolander g105. Enjoy your ride.
I have read about the 245-65-17 and the 235-70-17 as the largests tires you can put on a BS Badlands. What have been your experience. Think the 235 will produce more presure over the road, benefiting traction. Am I right. Will I need to modify anything with the tallest tire? Will it rub...
How about noise and wet grip on the open country at3? I will never see snow here, but rain, and ocasional mud, that I will find? Trying to decide between those and the falkens wp at3w as the wp trails are not available in Puerto Rico, despite being USA.
