So, time to raid the Ford corporate parts bin? I'm guessing that the underlying connections are the same, so one could swap out Lincoln/ high end Ford components... Time to start researching.
Personally, the newer "rubberized" flooring looks good (yes, the earlier F150 floor looked a bit...unfinished). The rear overlap mat is the same as the Corsair...
Both of my F 150s featured "rubberized" floors. Meant that I had to use molded mats (flat ones just slide around).
Clean with soap and water, don't use armor all (unless you want to slide).
It's just a dust cover. Slide it up and twist to see if it hangs. If not, a bit of tape around the top of the boot (the black plastic part) will provide enough friction to hold it into place.
I'll let you know - mine just went to "built" earlier today! WHOOOOHOOOO!!!!
Oh, wait. It'll still probably take months to get here. Texas is a long way from Mexico. Or something.
Well, if you've got a window sticker, you can track (as in follow the non motion) on your own. The dealer can pull a more detailed report (why it's not moving), but that's about it. Whenever I think about how this is going, I go for a walk. It's less stressful.
Two questions - (and yeah, I've scrolled thru every thread, so there...)
What exactly does this mean (the schedule/calendar thingy),
and "mine" has been "in production" since 1/17, so is it actually "in production" or still "on hold"?
Enquiring minds and all that...
Too late to add, so I'm thinking a bit of 3/8 plywood layered w/ABS sheeting, black plastic piano hinge, and a couple of plastic brackets, along w/some additional bits to limit rattling and such. Wonder if that would "sit" ok along top of wheel wells????
