Badlands stock suspension with Falken AT Trail tires.
For on pavement handling , just like RSH has mentioned, it needs to be driven like a typical front wheel drive car. Trail brake into the corner and it will turn …OK. Lack of feedback from the suspension since it is tuned toward off road...
great write up and review! thanks for sharing!
great photos! I'd like to get to Alaska someday soon.
sometime soon I would have the same 1-year reflection.
that's exactly what I thought of when I saw the news. many of us have been there the last 2 years.
everyone remember the possible rail strike last year? I thought I'd never get my car.
I wonder what Ford is going to do...they will put those people's car in front of the line? or if there is...

Very interesting roof rack system. Yakima and others has some kayak carriers to try to do the similar task. but this thing the whole rack comes down. so even a roof top box or bikes can be mounted on it.
I was thinking a small crane on top of the car :)...
Thanks for showing us the map of the trail. I will avoid most of this :)
Our car needs more clearance if we want to really do off roading.
It is so hard to trust map rating… especially after the rain we have in California this year. There are some big ruts out there. I ride mountain bike...
I was looking at this one as well…it is not a 270 degree maybe easier for a car like BS to open the rear hatch. But the price is like a 270 degree awning.
Just like the review says, an awning may be deserving of a permanent installation. It can be used all the time assuming you take your...
I have the Cascade Vehicle Tent (CVT) tradition awning much like dakman’s . I think most of these are very similar. I mount mine on the Thule aero crossbar T slot. The L shape bracket looks the same as dakman’s. The difference is one side L shape how it mount to the vehicle.
At first I...
Got 29 mpg yesterday on my BL…20 miles drive with maybe 3 miles on local streets and rest of on highway with some traffic. I was in Eco mode for the trip… and really first time using it for a long time. It made a difference!! Also the lighter traffic on the freeway helped control the speed...
You mean the fairing?
I can see the fairing would have impact to a sunroof that pops up and then open. Unless you can mount the fairing in front of the sunroof.
I have done this before with my other cars. But the roof rack crossbar has to be able to be mounted far up front for the fairing...
I will toss in my opinion...
I'm very happy with my BL. Tho I wished I have more interior lighting like the OBX trim. I couldn't accept the power on the OBX/BB/Base trims. But, those trims also has better gas mileage. sounds like you will have some good dirt roads to drive on, I'd go with...
Awesome!! we were in the same places!!!.....Easter day trip for us. I wish we could just camp on the Temblor Range watching sunrise and sunset. Below pic was taken on the Hurricane Road near top of the Temblor. great spot for a picnic. BS did just fine going up there.
caught the sunset when...
very nice! sometime I still thought about should I have ordered the grey roof...
I was very tempting to do some donut in the big muddy parking lot, It'd turn the whole car brown/grey...except for the roof
More nature's cyber orange
hardly can blame them, I'd be rather o_O
I wish they honor those who ordered, especially they waited 2 yrs already, these people should get priority parts allocation through the production process.
Then clear those order bank out and no longer accept reservation.
It appears that all this...
They may have to do what Rivian is doing. You can now only make a "Reservation". When your turn comes up, they will tell you what's available.
what a mess these days...
ACC is what I want from the Lux package. so no lux package for the Bronco unless you ordered a year ago and still waiting...
