I know you're right on this because working for a city that gets lots of random Ford fleet vehicles over the years, I've been in some Ford product like Fusions, Escapes and Explorers that sounded pretty darn good. I wish my BS did, but it absolutely didn't. In fact the whole damn vehicle isn't...
I have no psychological shortcomings that would prompt me to just p*ss all over 'B&O' because I know & like better audio equipment.
I've been in good audio for about 50 years and I know what I'm talking about and B&O was nothing more than a sometimes gorgeous vanity product that didn't sound...
I'll never understand why everyone was so hyper concerned for these 2 murdered individuals when we have murdered individuals all over the country/world every day of every year. Particularly here in the United States. In fact, you can murder people right here in New York and cut their bodies up-...
Truthfully, both the car and the app are P's OS. I've been back to the dealer a half a dozen or so times for both this completely unreliable app and the shtty unreliable infotainment system as well as two brake/directional light changes (have to make another appointment today as a matter of...
Same here, my Renegade Limited was very comfy & equipped. It got flooded & subsequently totaled early this year. It wasn't without quirky manufacturer issues, but the day to day driving was easy and pretty intuitive in terms of creature comforts for the money. My Bronco Heritage is a beauty and...
Seriously. I tried a couple of times. I can't tell you how many classic VWs I bought and sold for less than $500.
I was addicted to the smell of gasoline and dry rotted plastic. Everything from the VW Camper to Beetle convertibles. Somewhere along the way, everything got stupid.
I've had a number of beloved cars. My MO is always 'Square and Ugly'. When I go to Europe I still lose my mind over cars in the street.
My original square and ugly was a 1970 VW 411 wagon with 1500 pot seeds floating around the floor and a modern stereo cassette deck in the glove compartment...
Our milage may vary...
Mine is, more or less, impressively staying at around 24.5 or 6 which is more than I ever expected out of this vehicle. Particularly because I'm crawling around the New York City area 80% of the time. I keep it in ECO mode most of the time as well. I'm not really going...
A perfect addition would be the very fitting script logo for the door that ScareCrow was kind enough to start a thread with this week.

I thought the least they could do for that...
Thanks Meander...
I'm still not sure I want to dck around in that hard to get to compartment out back. I was thinking to get the same effect, possibly better, if I can just stick a powered subwoofer under the seat or put a small powered outboard box in the cargo area in the back. I'll figure it out.
Fantastic. It's getting me more excited to get started on this. The two sets of speakers are sitting in my front room for almost 3 weeks now because...well, because I just haven't had the time to dig in. I'm motivated right now and I'll report this coming week just how well it all worked out.
I remember when Lexus was fitted that coupe with a 'Mark Levinson' system (was that back in 99?) and I wanted that (idea) badly, almost badly enough to buy the Lexus. I didn't quite understand how this worked yet.
Do you remember when Subaru was running with Mcintosh systems?
My first thought...
As a pretty well trained and former semi-professional artist, I'm absolutely qualified to say F him :) it absolutely does not 'devalue' anything. It's a goddamned Ford Bronco Sport, not a Porsche- not that your lovely artwork would 'devalue' a Porsche.
