Just my guess, and someone else mentioned this too, I would bet they are prioritizing more expensive builds, possibly also based on dealership. Not saying it’s fair, just based on reading about the builds that were bumped versus those moved up.
Grew up on the Florida east coast just across Aligator Alley and my gandmother lived in Naples Park. Such a tragedy for that whole area. Glad you all came out okay!
I mean when someone does come up with some type of portable quick charger for EVs that can provide 20-30 miles of charge, I would imagine there are Lightning, Rivian, Hummer EV owners out there who would shell out for it.
Totally valid concern. In my leaf, if you run out of charge, no one can bring a "can of electricity" to you to get you enough juice to get home. You have to get the expensive tow. Its going to be awhile before you can really use any type of off road electric vehicle to truly go overlanding.
My Badlands with basically every option (Sunroof, PP, 360+, Tow, Cargo System) was shifted from the week of 11/21 to the week of 11/14 yesterday as well.
More options sounds good to me. I have an older electric vehicle. It has its use cases but those use cases no longer align with my life. I am going back to an ICE vehcile for the time being in the BS but would happily buy an electric vehicle again down the line.
Hoping its not something as trivial as this holding up your shipping!
