2023 Badlands ordered 8/4, built on 12/10, currently en route to the dealership with an expected delivery date of between 1/5—1/11. Considering all the delays I've been reading about over the past year that seems kind of optimistic to me, but we'll see. I ordered it pretty well loaded up...
My Badlands was scheduled for production this week (12/5). It now shows up as in production, and the window sticker is also now showing up, but I didn't see it last Friday, so check back next week.
Congrats on finding what you wanted on the lot. I spent a couple of months searching inventory in different parts of the country without finding anything close enough to what I wanted. I typically keep my cars for 10+ years so it's really important to me that I don't have to compromise too much...
I'm seeing these sequential LED taillights and turn signals everywhere these days, but are they DOT approved? I'm just wondering if they would increase your chances of getting pulled over or failing a safety inspection because of them in some jurisdictions.
Mine hasn't been moved back, so far. Currently scheduled for week of 11/21, Cyber Orange Badlands with premium package, Co-Pilot360 Assist++ and moonroof.
Is it pretty safe to assume that the 2023 models won't have the temp display on the knobs either? I don't recall if there was any mention of it in the 2023 order guide, one way or the other.
It did include the VIN and order number, but I get an error message when I click on the track my order button or enter the VIN in the Ford window sticker PDF tool.
I just got an email stating that my 2023 Badlands, ordered at the beginning of August, is scheduled to be built the week of November 21, 2022. The order tracking and window sticker by VIN aren't functioning yet, though.
I kind of miss the unique Forest Service green. Does Ford even do custom paint colors for fleet orders anymore? I figure a lot of companies just use vinyl wraps these days.
