I'd read somewhere that Android 12 on the Samsung had some issues with either AA or the adapter...but can't remember where. I also read that the issue had been resolved, so if you're up to date, everything I just said is a moot point. ? I did go into the Carsifi app and toggle the bluetooth...
Yes, I still have my phone paired with SYNC. So far, I haven't had to re-pair the phone (Samsung S21 FE 5G) so I can't complain. Of course, it could all go South, but we'll wait and see. Everything happens quite fast, so by the time I get my seat belt on, AA is running. Quite pleased.
The bumper comes drilled from the factory. If they had to drill holes, it probably means they had to replace the bumper. Replacements do not come with the trailer hitch or license plate preparation.

There is not enough storage space for the maps in the base system. Beyond that, they're the same. Try Android Auto or CarPlay and just download an offline map and you're all set.
It is not Android Auto itself that is going away. There is an Android Auto app that can be used on some older versions of Android that is being (or has been) discontinued. (That's why it says "Android Auto for the phone). Newer phones do not need the app inasmuch as AA connectivity is built-in...
Good point...except that in every Ford and Lincoln vehicle I have ever owned, including those that I own now, the garage door opener has always been powered.
