I got one of those for my wife's BL. But I did a really piss poor job of installing and it looked like crap. I just replaced with a slip on cover that seems to fit well and she likes it. At some point, if prices come down, I might replace the steering wheel altogether.
I was gonna ask about that. They would have to give me one heck of a deal to give them free advertisement. I take that stuff off as soon as I get home. One time, a dealership asked me if they could put a decal when I took my truck in for a service. Uhhh, no.
My wife has the Badlands withOUT leather. We both really like the material and find it comfortable, although we haven't take any long trips. I am 6' and carrying around more than I should, and I haven't experienced any uncomfortableness as yet, either the driver or passenger seat.
Stories like this are infuriating to me. We were fortunate when we bought our Badlands, no "market adjustment" back in May.
When I went to trade my F150 and get a Colorado a few weeks ago, I told them up front that I would NOT pay any market adjustment and to let me know up front if they were...
I'm sorry that I am one that laughed when I saw the thread. I didn't even think that we had become so reliant on tech that these kinds of things aren't even used much, if at all, anymore.
I just traded my F150 in on a '21 Chevy Colorado. It actually has a separate key fob from the key! I love...
Thanks. I use lock-unlock-lock remote start on my F150 thanks to that module all the time. My wife's BS doesn't have the remote start via the fob, but she has used the app. I might give it a shot to get remote start from the fob.
I did this on my F150 to get the lock-unlock-lock remote start feature. We don't have remote start option with our badlands, can anyone confirm that this will give those of us without a remote start option?
Check your local laws before doing it. I have the Llumar Air 80 on my F150 and it does a great job of cutting down the heat here in FL. It is technically not legal to do this tint, but you can't really tell it is on there.
We did 20% all around (other than the windshield) on the Badlands and I...
This was nicely done. Really good comparisons and it seems that they actually did their research on these vehicles. The Badlands is just a badass truck. I still haven't driven my wife's in sport mode yet.
Agreed. Trying to make sure I get the right ones because I am ordering them online. I'm trying to see If we are supposed to have the plain Acorn or Bulge Acorn.
Hate to be a pain, but do you have a picture showing from the front and/or rear? My wife wants these for her Badlands and I am trying to see if the tires "fill out" the flares or if it looks weird sticking out too far over the tires.
My wife uses a large water bottle that won’t fit in a cup holder. I got her a water bottle holder that mounts using the molle straps. Also a couple of pouches for various things yet to be determined.
We were really fortunate that we found a dealer ordered Badlands locally that did not have a deposit on it yet. I was shocked, but pleased. Even the color she wanted - Rapid Red. Also, no dealer markup, I would have told them to piss off otherwise.
However, it did NOT have the Badlands...
