Not yet. That’s the plan after the new year. I have a couple friends wanna go too and haven’t got the timing right yet.
Also planning to hook up with Summit 4x4 again out of Prescott. They do some good rides. A lot of Jeeps, but they are very welcoming.
Sooooo. I did a thing. I thought it was a 4/10.... really. I did.
It was a 6...
Argenis did an AMAZING job doing things I am pretty sure the "Big Guys" would have said not to try. I need that @JcrOffroad armor for sure. Came close to making a few very bad mistakes to compound the one I...
Handles deep desert sand fine :-). And the deep powdery red dirt too. Just air down and don’t stop hahaha. Oh, wouldn’t have wanted to try it in those scorpions it came with tho (I’m badlands) and definitely not in the continental on the OB I had first.
I traded my OB in because…… Badlands...
I have actually put that big a** circle â•️ k cup in the front one no problem. Gets in the way more or less depending on front one or the back one. But that’s the cup. And it’s on longer rides where I don’t really need to do any fiddling in the center console.
Don’t worry bout the cup holder size.
I put a 32oz yeti knockoff from Walmart in it every day. No issues. No spilling when turning or even off-road on rough trails.
Well. If I were paid off, and not worried about warranty issues hahaha. That’s a bit more invasive than I am keen to do.
Definitely on the “Bucket List” tho. Ingenious solution if you ask me. Had no idea that was even possible.
I’ve found Sand mode useful in deeper sand in narrow wash canyons to stabilize turning, slippery in 4in deep pea gravel for the same on ashelf road and, while normal would probably eventually figure out what to do… rock crawl helped on a couple slick steep steppy hills.
just depends. Mud and...
I think HRG has a new taller lift and their suggested is 70s I think. . But I have the 1.25in lift and yes, the 245/65/17 are as big as you can go without rub.
I was looking more at the JCR front plate, and it looks like it has a bit of geometry to it? That could add some buffer and strength over the flat OEM. Not to mention maybe they are using tougher steel?
just not clear. On that part.
I do know I’ve whacked the fuel plates a couple times pretty...
Mine was doing better until I stopped using eco and cruise around the city streets (I got complacent driving). I get about 19 average, but on trips I’m in the upper 20s. New it was at 26-28. Then with rack it was 23, mine is quite larger from the looks of it. And with the awning when on…...
Totally on my list for next year since I actually take it out and need specifically that protection, and the cat. Will feel much better making more challenging videos with those on.
Just wondering what benefits I would get from getting the front and fuel skids too if any. I already have the...
Hey. We get snow too! I think that’s what it’s called. The white flakes that fall from the sky and disappear into another dimension when they land?
haha. I for one am looking forward to maybe getting some of this kit next year. Just gotta figure out which pieces. For sure the two floor skids...
Oh sweet! I’ll DM you once the holidays are through. I’m betting we could get something going.
Im praying for a nice bonus to get the new JCR gear hahaha. Dang AZ rocks are scary sometimes. Already put a dent in a floor pan when one rolled under my tire and grew. (The buried part was a lot...
Phenomenal shots and post. Maybe I should pay you to do it for me hahaha. I have never been mistaken for being too handy.
We should get a group of us AZ peeps to go on a ride.
Oh I can’t wait for bonus time next spring. I want all of it.
@JcrOffroad QQ: I have a badlands. Is there benefit to replacing the existing plates with yours? Or is it a wash? Other than the oil change part of the deal.
The gas tank OEM are pretty solid, and I’m not sure how your engine skid...
