hehe, we were a dual 2017 Escape house at one point, and was tempted to go dual BS's to join my spouse's OB with a Badlands for myself, but right now I have a Maverick XLT Hybrid on order instead.
Enjoy them!
Ford of Europe is a different entity than Ford USA. Thus why points can only be redeemed within the country of issue. So no, you will not find a dealer in Germany to accept your USA points.
I cant use my points in the USA either. Very much the same way if I was to export my BS to the USA, my...
Definity watching that thread over there out of curiosity of how it progresses and if he gets everything to work properly as it isn't yet, but theoretically it should all work with the right corrections with Forscan and maybe a wire splice for the fuel gauge....
Maverick/Escape/Bronco Sport all share the same platform/engines and yes, the Bronco Sport will get the hybrid at some point. :) but currently leaning the Maverick for my personal ride in the next year or 2
I really hesitated getting the 1.5L coming from 2L escapes and I had a fleet 4cyl 1.5L escape with work that I absolutely detested as it was gutless on my mountain commute to the city.
I had a service loaner 1.5L 2020 Escape and was pleasantly surprised by the power and bit the bullet. there's...
My Fusion did this, and my Escapes did this. Its Fords Intelligent 4wd. you get 4wd when necessary, and 2wd when you don't need it. Its all about optimization, and your fuel economy benefits from this.
Full time 4wd is quite gas guzzley.
Ford has been quite open about it and how it works. No...
make sure to clean the ice out of the cowls. We had an ice storm out here a couple weeks back and with the frozen snow/ice chunks falling into the cowl, they were blocking the wipers from going completely down.
Pop the hood, clean out the ice from below the arm and hinge area, and was back to...
The temps no longer showing on the climate controls is likely due to the chip shortage. Ford is really looking to find ways to cut corners to reduce the number of chips used in their cars. Why have a chip to generate the LED display when you already have a built in way to show it in the SYNC...
Any vehicle with ACC or ICC has this issue. The BS has the problem in snow and really heavy rain. My Escape has the problem too.
Turn off the ACC/ICC and you can use regular old Cruise Control, but most would tell you, CC isn't safe in these conditions anyway, so time to just do some old...
I resistored the signal and brake sockets since with the common ground was doing weird things with hyperflash doing only one or the other. Reverse never was an issue.
used double sided tape as well to affix to the housing and no issues.
I wouldn't slam anyone for posting their experiences changing their lighting.
Sure there is another thread with links, but these are different bulbs, which I welcome to see the options. But I will say I want to see pictures of the posted bulbs in action!
I am amused how this dealer is charging for what is already indicated as "included" on the window sticker. Its rather shady that these dealers are doing this, especially to people who pre-ordered their BS's. They wouldn't get this car without you the customer ordering it and thus whith the...
If you read the warranty on condensation in the headlights or taillights, there has to be enough for water droplets to run down. I went through this with one with my escapes. the rear tail lights condensed and streaked (among other leaking issues thus why we eventually traded it for the Bronco)...
I noticed this with our Bronco sport, when we start the car, the led ring in the tail light is always on!
I appreciate this feature and wish I could configure my escape to do this too but so far cannot. But here is why in Canada...
sounds about right, The civic 25 years ago had 10k....was only worth about 5k at the time. There wasn't a body panel on it without damage, except the doors. Even punched a perfect circle (but not break) in the windshield.
not enough to write off for the bronc sadly, hopefully they can make it...
