4000 miles in and my Clockspring is making a noise. Brought to ford and they stated “within spec”. More annoying than anything. Anyone else experiencing this?
I’ll be there the end of October. I couldn’t book the partner hotel but staying nearby in wolfesboro. Any tips or suggestions for the day in NH or at the event would be greatly appreciated. How much driving did you do?

Anyone know of a way to select the steering fee of sport mode with normal or even eco mode? I feel the added “weight” is much more suited for how the vehicle drives.
My rear glass is rattling too, and it makes like a “whomp” sound as if the pressure vents aren’t working at speed. My sunroof rattles and my hush panel is missing. Other than that it’s pretty solid.
I changed the oil on my Badlands at just under 3000 miles. My Reason for doing so is that I’m a believer in “break-in” shearing and wanted to get the initial contaminants out.
I had this service done at my ford dealer As they hook up the first responders with $18.99 oil changes and $48.99 oil...
Being a 2.0 owner on my BL I have to say 250 HP is about peak for a fwd based vehicle. any more than that and you’ll have incredible torque/under-steer conditions without some clever tuning or update to the awd.
coming from an s60 polestar I have to say the usable power in the BL is nothing to...
you can either treat it like a lease and buy the car at the discounted price or Ford does offer balloon payments, similar to lease in a way. Some credit unions offer “lease-like” financing. In NY we have Teachers Federal Credit Union.
i can’t imagine why someone would turn away service, even if it’s factory warranty work. You deliver on the “free” work, build the relationship and then when something arises out of warranty you have the opportunity to sell retail work. Ive never encountered that with any vehicle or brand I’ve...
that black badlands is mine. Just picked it up yesterday and on its way back home. Ashleigh was incredible throughout the entire process and yes believe all the hype. Price as promised, all rebates, no hidden fees or add ons. Thanks Ashleigh and Granger!
I used to think the KN was the go to filter, lasts forever, and more performance, save money.
what I’ve realized it’s horrible at filtering the day to day stuff and more of a dragstrip day filter.
stick with oem or purolator.
With the advancements of mass air flow sensors, pcvs, and overall computing, without software tuning the engine these things are antiquated snake oil for the most part and may be more restrictive in some cases.
keep your air filter clean, and try a few different brands, but we’re talking...
Look at the trunks and engine bays of the old muscle cars if you want to see some bad paint work/overspray from the factory, that was very common.
that’s probably just an efficiency/cost move by ford. I’d let sleeping dogs lie on this, hey don’t have to worry about mechanics scratching paint...
