can I ask some follow up questions? I am debating on doing this on my 25 OB without the B&O system.
What has your long term experience been with these door speakers?
Can you share the parts list of what you ordered? I am having a heck of a time finding what I need and Crutchfield says stuff...
...I uploaded some quick videos to YouTube that some of you may find useful concerning my previous post upgrading the base door speakers to JLaudio C1 separates in the front coaxial in the rear, I end up keeping the Ford stock tweeters in the dash for now.
Another thought was taking the big...
Hello all,
I installed the JLAudio C1 650 components in the front doors and dash of my 2024 BB, and I love the sound I am getting. Crutchfield said they wouldn't fit, but I had been in contact with a helpful gentleman on reddit that installed them in his BS with no issue. The selling point...
...doors are better/higher quality than the ones in the rear doors. So I moved the better ones to the rear doors and installed the woofer of a JLAudio C1 6.5" component set in the front. The JL's must be more efficient because they were louder than the other speakers. Fixed it with an inline...
...head unit response to the external DSP which was where I was not happy with the idea that the rear speakers were rolling off bass so sharply.

Where to begin, I had similar issues with my 2018 focus st, but nothing like this. I ended up using an lc2i into a clarion equalizer and that got rid of alot of the biggest background noise. It made the music kinda flat though and even with the equalizer it was still lacking. I ended getting a...
...Any luck with ridding the noise you were hearing? P.S. I ran into a similar issue on my old f150, and was able to tame it down a lot with a JLAudio Cleansweep, and turn that down some to make it just barely noticeable. Radio was still stellar, and the whine noise was near gone when music was...
Got my JLAudio Sub installed, sounds awesome, it's small enough and blends really well with the existing B&O system. Bass is nice and smooth. Fills in the low end without being ridiculously loud and doesn't shake the whole car.
Despite all of the tuning and turning up the bass in the settings, the sound wasn't enough for me, so I have time scheduled with a local installer to install a powered JLAudio subwoofer. Should sound much better for the type of music that I listen to. ?
Thanks, I was hoping that post would be helpful to someone!
On my truck, bass was being pulled from the sub channel as well. The front channels gets bass pulled too but seems like not as much as the rears or sub channel. The Super Duty’s being as popular as they are, I was able to find a wealth...
Does anyone know if Ford rolls off the bass for the B&O sub? I would like to connect the high speaker wires from the B&O sub to a LOC then RCA to a spare tire sub.
Figured this might be easier than removing rear or front door panels and the signal would be better suited for just a powered sub...
