Inconsistent heat

Hey everyone ! Quick question…. Within the last week I’ve noticed my Bronco is having heating issues. I can turn the heat on up to 85 and it will blow cool air even after the car is warmed up. This happens while I am parked and idling. When I get driving down the road for a bit the heat gets going. Any thoughts on what this could be ? Thanks in advance.

Hi, it happened the same to me but with the Cooling AC. Apparently, the AC or Heating works within the Outside Temperature. I know it doesn't make sense but believe me it does.
When it happened to me, I was in the desert with negative temperatures but inside the cabin was damm hot. The AC didn't work till I reach an outside temperature above 16 degrees Celsius. Hope it helps.

I have 2021 bronco sport outer banks. I had an issue for the coolant, then change a water pump. In a year, I haven’t had any issues. However I found the coolant level was low again. I think Ford should recall this issue.

I had the Bronco sport serviced yesterday and it was indeed the water pump. Hopefully the replacement will last a while. They did a coolant flush also.
