Just a heads up, a fuse went out on my air suspension, and it took me a while to figure out what it was.And when I was doing the test drive after, I noticed just in my garage, not even moving when I went from park to drive, it made a squealing sound. So I had someone else get in and go between park.Reverse drive and back obviously with a few seconds in between.Let it settle before you shift it again. And the whole engine was moving like two inches.

So I looked online, well, first I looked at the top engine mount, and it seemed to be okay, but it's hard to tell with the stuff. In the way a guy had his brake on a trail. The lower engine mount and evidently on the two liters, at least it's a bitch and a half, because you literally have to drop the entire subframe to get to some of the bolts.

So I was able to luckily see the crack in my transmission mount. And so I pulled all the stuff off.I've already got the part ordered, which was like a hundred and thirty dollars, which was the cheapest.I could find on parts geek, and it's going to be here in 2-5 days which probably doesn't count today.Which is sunday or tomorrow?Which is columbus day.

So anyways, you guys might want to watch out for that.If you put it in drive and you notice a weird, I guess it was kind of like a rubbing sound.Maybe it's the first time that i've heard it.So i'm pretty sure it happened soon.I try to turn off the radio and listen to my car every now and then.Driving and everything and on startup.

So of course, there wasn't a video for our car, but there is a video for like an 11 to 19 Explorer. And ours was in the exact same spot. You basically have to pull off the air box and the battery and the battery tray. And it's right under there. It's not too hard. Anyone can do it. It's just a little bit of a pain getting stuff out of the way, and you can clearly see the big crack down the middle. I'm leaving mine bolted up. I just made sure I could actually get the bolts loose. And then I'll fully take it off once. I get the new part in also you want to make sure that you put a Jack with a piece of soft wood on top between the Jack and the transmission PAN to keep it from dropping down. I did mine on the ridge, probably where the transmission actually bolts to the engine. Because I don't like putting it on the PAN. Even though luckily's ours is metal, but it is Is just aluminum and I only just barely settled it on there but it's been a while since i've have to do this had to do on my fourteen escape, though. Those were common for going and the common upgrade was to use the hybrid version which was stronger. But I did all of the motor mounts on that one.And that lower one was a pain, but it was nothing like this. One supposedly as.

Anyways, I put some pics, feel free to chat, but I just don't get on this forum that often to be honest, i'm so worried about this transmission braking as soon as this car is paid off.I'm getting a new one, not taking the chance.

And yes, that is a paint can helping to hold up the transmission.I would rather that it crumbles and the transmission sags.A bit plus I couldn't get my jack under there without moving the vehicle. And then I wouldn't be able to close my garage. You can hate on me all you want. It's what I did.And then i've got a piece of steel, which is actually from my spare tire holder between that and then a piece of soft plywood, actually between the steel and the pan, or rather the ridge. That, I think, is the transmission and the engine.

Guys, I gotta admit something. I'm stupid. I was looking closer at it. It's not a crack that's just where some rubber is. However, upon doing some vibration testing, the transmission is moving way too much from there. And it does look like it's actually leaking fluid too, which these transmission mounts actually have fluid in them as well as the rubber. And if it's leaking fluid, that means it's not going to be good anymore. So it looks like it is bad still, but I'm dumb. And that was not a crack in the metal.

When the new park comes in and I take the old one off, I'll make sure and take some pictures. And post it and hopefully be able to show y'all what happened. And hopefully, i'm not totally stupid, and it actually was bad.

I mean, something is definitely wrong with the mouths.CuzThe engine is moving like two inches, and it shouldn't move pretty much at all.But the question is whether this is the problem or if this is the only problem.

Also I was looking at that lower engine mount. And I couldn't quite see what that other person was talking about. How you had to raise the subframe?Because all the boats that I could see it looked like you could get to ford even cut holes in the subframe 42 of them. But they're very well could be other ones that i'm not seeing yet

And also I just want to say thank you.So much to my mom who takes the time out of her day to let me use her car sometimes when this happens. And my friends that take me to work. And back home after so that I don't have to drive my car with issues while I wait on parts.

Boy, your posts are a tough read.

There are 3 engine/transmission mounts on the BS. 1.5L or 2.0L both have 3 mounts. Driver side, passenger side and lower side.

The lower side mount is the one that will usually go bad. This is not that difficult to replace.

The 21-24 1.5L does not use hydraulic engine mounts on the driver or passenger side. I am not sure about 21-24 2.0L. Maybe someone can check on your 2025 MPC engines for the type of mount.

Engine mounts fail quite often. There is a lot of stress on the mounts of a transverse mounted engine/transmission.

Not sure if my problem has anything to do with what you are talking about, but my transmission is jerking between low speeds. I took it into the dealership and they say I need a whole new transmission $8700 on a 2021 BS badlands 70k. I have read a lot of posts about how many B sports have had their transmissions gone.
I'm in communications with Ford directly, but this sounds like a design flaw, overall. Just too many issues under 100k. Thanks for letting me share.

It seems like a lot of transmissions on.These are failing, but it's definitely worth it to just have someone go through the gears while you watch the engine and see if it moves to see if the mounts are going in.My experience on other cars.Usually you don't have to worry about mounts.Until about a hundred thousand miles or so, if not more, but I know I want to say around twenty nineteen twenty twenty. There was a run of bad engine mounts by a company like there was a lot of them on hondas, but other ones as well.I believe, and so this could be related to that.

But it's like, I always say, ford makes a lot of cool things, and then they screw it up by cheaping out on the little stuff.

Hopefully it's just your engine mounts

Well, I got the part earlier today. And got it swapped out, and the movement definitely lessened a lot.I still feel like it's moving more than it should, though. So I haven't put my skid plate back on.I'm probably going to have someone else.Go through the gears and i'm gonna watch the lower amount, because that one seems like it would control that front to back motion. The most also, my buddy has a twenty three bad lens, and i'm gonna see how his is.He only has thirty seven thousand miles on his see.If his moves as much.

If anyone that has a two liter wouldn't mind if they could take a video of someone going from park to reverse.Wait a second, go to drive, wait a second.Go to park while someone else videos. How much the engine moves and post it on this forum?I would greatly appreciate it.I would love to compare what other ones are like
