Remove expanded polystyrene from the trunk

Hello everyone, to make better use of the trunk space, I'd like to remove the two pieces of expanded polystyrene surrounding the spare tire. If anyone could tell me how to remove these two pieces without breaking them, I'd appreciate it. Best regards.

Thanks a lot for the link, there's good info but I couldn't find how to remove the foam without breaking it or breaking the support that holds it (which I can't see with the naked eye)

Just pull them straight up. They will come out pretty easily and in one piece

Honestly, I had mine out, and broken, before I even thought about keeping it. LOL

Those foam things are so fragile, almost every time I touch one it breaks (and not just Ford hah). Good on you for being cautious!
