No doubt, you all already know what I just learned.
Yesterday, I replaced the OEM tires on my 2021 BS BL (Falken Wildpeak AT3). I stayed with the Falken: AT4 235/65 R17. In the process, I thought I'd get a fifth to be my spare tire since the BL accommodates a full-size spare.
Not exactly. The tire was just wide enough that the floor cover would not go all the way down and thus the rear hatch would not close.
Fortunately, Discount Tire still had my original OEM Pirelli Scopion (225) and could swap it back. Floor cover fits and the rear hatch closes again.
So, it is a full size spare, just not a match for the other (OEM-sized) tires. And not something I would want to use for long.
I love my BS Badlands and its little quirks.
