say what you will but the service manager said this to me so if its BS, that may be so.
I used to drive over 60k miles a year for a couple decades, so I have gone through my fair share of tires, OEM and replacement and in my experience, replacement tires tended to run closer to its advertised...
I had the same problem, Michelin tires dead at under 30000KM....like thats 20k miles. Sent to manufacturer for assessment as they even said that was way below expectations. Early wear and other concerns. Dealer even said OEM tires are lesser quality than retail version of the same tire.
OEM Michelins are crap. at 4/32 at 28700 kms....so what's that, barely over 20000 miles? Alignment all within spec. relatively even wear across the tread and some splitting happening in the tread too, Michelin Rep took em for evaluation. We shall see the verdict here.
This would totally be doable. Likely would need some tweaks with forscan though to get it fully functioning.
There are those at the Maverick Forum who have had the fully digital cluster from the Escape installed and fully functioning.
seach forscan here in this forum, theres all the info to get it working, but yes a laptop is ideal and a obd2 cable reader is required $40-50 and the software is free, you will have to get a key which is good for a few months or you can pay for a year, and not pricey. its handy to have, its can...
I know that leak, one of my escapes had this issue which actually is the seam running along the side channels where the roof rack mounts to the roof. I know the 2013-2019 escapes had this issue. First I have ever seen the Sport have an issue.
Likely where the rack mounts at the back end there...
no, its all controlled by the body control module now days, just need to turn ouf the bulb outage flags in forscan and all resolved.
Mostly software control now, no need for hardware controllers anymore
resistors really aren't the answer here. Every time I thought I had the problem resolved, the hyper flash would continue to intermittently return. Forscan fixed the problem as the setting has now been found and published in the most current version.
Forscan is the answer regardless of the bulb...
Short answer? Yes. Long answer? its more than plug and play. The Maverick forum has had success in upgrading their cluster to an escape full digital cluster, so its possible. just to configure it for use through forscan could be a little tedious. The Maverick, Escape and Bronco sport all share...
3000km trip, Vancouver, BC->Kelowna, BC->Calgary, AB->Drumheller, AB->Edmonton, AB->Vancouver, BC.......7.5L/100KM with the 1.5L OB.
Colour me impressed. ran mostly on ECO mode, though used Sport in aggressive passing on single lane mountain highways.
Yeah, i ordered a loaded XLT to replace my Escape back in January...might be fall or later before I see it. Though if they open up the Hybrid in Lariat trim for Canada for the '23 model year, I will be waiting longer when I change my order lol.
I cant answer specifically, but my guess would be...
Canada mandates DRL for all cars in Canada at a certain spec thus why all trim levels have the signature headlights in Canada.
It goes the other way in Canada too such as why can't I get a Maverick Hybrid in Lariat trim like the USA :(
*EDIT* Ford fixed this for the 2023MY and now I have my...
as far as I have been able to tell so far is that only success has been made with the Central configuration settings, where its simple selections and not hex altering as in the past, but we should be looking at Maverick and Escape forums for guidance in Forscan as there are numerous similarities...
