  1. 2021 Bronco Sport USB-C Port Failing – Dealer Can’t Fix (Even Under Warranty)

Mine was replaced under warranty, no hassle. I'd look for a different dealer, service departments vary dramatically.
  2. Pro Power Onboard

Can't remember ever needing it once in the last 5 years. Guess it's one of those "better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it." ??
  3. Worst snow storm of my life…

If you're not having fun, your Bronco definitely is.
  4. Keyless Entry Keypad: there is hope

I like this feature so much I added the stick-on version to my Transit too. Surprising that other automakers haven't adopted it. For about the first two years I never used it. Then I set a custom code I could remember, and now I use it almost daily. Saves me a ton of trips back into the house...
  5. The wandering eye...

Always thought that would be a great combo. It gets my giant cargo van moving pretty quick and with a good sound. I don't mind letting the needle tickle the 6,800 RPM redline.
  6. The wandering eye...

I guess it’s a 3.5 now. The NA 3.7 I have in my Transit is a great motor. Smooth power, reliable and there are many that have gone 300-400k miles without issue.
  7. The wandering eye...

I test drove a Bronco with the manual transmission and it was so satisfying to row a gearshift again. That truck with Ford's 3.7 would be a dream. I'll get an EV before another turbo engine.
  8. The wandering eye...

Yeah I'm 6'3" and my son is gaining on me quickly. Pretty soon my wife will be in the back seat instead, she might have the wandering eye at that point too.
  9. The wandering eye...

Oh yea, I know all about depreciated German cars...I had an old Audi Allroad that my dad handed down when we needed a family car. It was one failed sensor after another, then the air suspension, then the fuel pump and a $750 tow bill after it stalled on my wife and kids in the middle of a busy...
  10. The wandering eye...

There is no rational reason to replace my '21 BS BL. It's paid for, functional, reliable, fast, great in the snow, low mileage. My wife loves the quasi-self-driving feature. I wish it was bigger, mostly for the sake of my growing teenagers in the back seat. A smoother, more refined ride would...
  11. 2025 Fender Tie Down Retrofit Diagrams

    China has entered the chat.
  12. Low Speed Pop In Drive & Reverse

I suspect the front brake calipers in my case. The pop happens upon releasing the brake, and when braking lightly over a rough road or rumble strip it rattles loudly along with the bumps. Knowing the poor tolerances on the rear caliper bushings (reverse moan sound), I'm guessing the caliper...
  13. Badlands/first edition/ heritage limited RDU fluid change

I was thinking about changing my RDU fluid this weekend at 59,000 miles...but seeing yours fail after 20 miles is pretty scary. I think I'll leave it alone, maybe pay a shop to do it so I have warranty recourse.
  14. Sanity in car loans

Anything over 48 months is pretty crazy. Even if you can afford it, writing that check every month just sucks, and doing it for 5-6 years on a car you are underwater on..no thank you. The number of people behind on their car payments is rising due to longer terms and higher interest rates...
  15. Well now we know what’s too deep

WTF, that truck driver was a jerk.
