It’s actually still in the shop. In 5 months of ownership it’s been in the shop for over a month and a half. It’s safe to say I am not planning on keeping it.
It’s more the customer service that is frustrating. They should be providing me a vehicle to use right now. Seeing the auto withdrawal for this months car payment for a car I don’t have was a pretty sour pill to swallow.
I’ve definitely been researching Lemon laws. They are almost at the “30 days out of service” requirement. If it’s not back with a good explanation within a week, I think I’m gonna have to go that route. I love the car, but being in the shop for 25% or the time of ownership for a brand new car...

Agreed! This is a serious issue that Ford needs to address. I’m fine with recalls. Stuff like that happens with new vehicles. I’m not fine with issues that should be a recall that aren’t addressed. And what possible justification do they think they have for not covering it under warranty?
I had that warning. I just got it back after being in the shop for two weeks to replace the rear drive unit. I don’t know if that can really tell you anything though, because it’s a pretty broad warning that could be from a wide range or issues with varying severity
It’s not scalping, it’s inflation. Prices aren’t ever coming back down to what they were before COVID. Right now accessories are out of stock, soon enough they will realize they can charge more and people will still buy them.
I mentioned this a couple times in another thread, but I want to make it it’s own thread now that I know what’s going on. I had three warning lights pop up a few weeks back about a “powertrain malfunction” and “hill start assist warning”.
I heard back today and they are replacing the rear drive...
