  1. Amber wrench indicator light on instrument panel

It's not for your exact year, so they probably round filed it. But just because yours is a year newer doesn't mean that can't be the culprit. Same symptoms and an easy check. GLWR.

  3. Comfortable for longer road trips? Thinking of buying.

Not the most comfortable seats. I really miss the ones in my Chevy. The power seats had two more points of articulation so you could raise the front and back of the bottom (i.e. tilt). I know some people have found aftermarket fixed-tilt solutions but that's not a substitute. I've also sat in...
  4. Annoying Seat Belt lights.

It's way less than 45 seconds. I don't know how long it is on mine but it feels like 10-15? I have the rear passenger reminder off; could that influence it?
  5. FORScan: Accessory Power Delay?

My understanding is the BCM senses a draw on the USB and keeps power longer or until a threshold of battery is reached. I know there are camera kits to either extend or cut the camera draw. i.e. a box that senses the drop from engine on to acc power and it kills the camera so the delay doesn't...
  6. Dealership says CV Axle going out and told me it's not covered under powertrain warranty

Could you maybe added a lift or oversize shoes? They might try to deny it if you modded something and they say that is the cause. Or the dealership doesn't want to get paid warranty rate for something they think takes more shop time- could go to a different dealer and see what their tech says.
  7. what are these ?

Please, someone, anyone, take a CJ-7 to the local big box hardware megaplex and put eight 2x6x12 on the roof and then demonstrate where the proper tie down points are at. It's a little option on the car. Yeah, a bunch of people can go their entire ownership and never tie anything to it. So what?
  8. what are these ?

Some are plastic blanking plates. Some people have swapped in a sidelight. Some new models have a tiedown anchor.
  9. Navigation Maps NA 2 25 Coming May 5

They announced a new CEO to replace Tim Apple. So anything is possible. It's like when Costco replaces theirs and all the hot dog fans collectively pucker up a little bit over the $1.50 combo.
  10. Engine air filter

If you go to the Ford parts site, you can enter a VIN and get a list of parts that fit. In this case, I didn't enter a VIN, just "2025" and "Bronco Sport". This is the air filter Ford showed me. You can probably use that part number on an interchange site.
  11. Navigation Maps NA 2 25 Coming May 5

Nah, it operates. It just won't know if a new road is built or a roundabout was added. That will be more or less of a problem depending on where you live and how much you rely on the "lane guidance" part of the navigation. It won't feature traffic and live data unless you additionally pay for a...
  12. Navigation Maps NA 2 25 Coming May 5

Probably will end up being May 4th. May 3rd will be exactly 5 years of ownership for me. So if Ford honored the original paperwork that said 5 years of updates were included with the system, of course it would naturally come out the day beyond 5 years!!
  13. Need help identifying an interior part

If you try the salvage yard route, you might have to pack a 6 pack with you. My experience is that the yard operators don't want to deal with a $2 part. It isn't worth their operator's time to pull it or their insurance to let you go do the labor. Really sad state of things to be honest. Did...
  14. What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

I pulled that console up when I was tinkering with some things. The "C" port seems piggybacked off the other one. So I doubt it delivers anything more than a typical USB-B 500ma port. they just made a "C" for user convenience. I think if they had a 3A or PD port, Ford would probably tout that in...
  15. 2021 Engine Problems

An annual fluid check is just wild to me. I'd like to say it's a 30 day item, but for sure every 60 at least and before a longer or overnight trip.
