    I contacted Ford on Friday and provided all the details. They said I would receive a call from them within 1 business day. It's Wednesday and I haven't heard from anyone at Ford.     Sorry, wish I took more pictures than just the one. By the time realized things were worse than I thought the car was being loaded onto the flatbed. The engine department appeared clean and dry and like I mentioned the air filter looked undamaged.

    That's exactly right. She was to the side of the puddle,got stuck in the mud, and slid sideways into the water. She changed the GOAT mode to mud and ruts. This was not an off roading adventure. She was looking for a house that was listed for sale and the GPS took her down this road.

    My fiance was driving. I was working. She said she moved over to the side to avoid the water and got stuck in mud. As she struggled back and forth to get out of the mud the car slipped sideways toward the water until it was in about 15 inches of water. It was a rural dirt road.

    Still to early to tell what the outcome will be. The tow truck operator checked the oil and showed me it was mixed with muddy water. The air filter was completely clean. Towed it to the dealership.
