  1. Persistent High Frequency Whine in Cabin

Perhaps. Depends entirely on the frequency response of this ChassisEars device. Their spec sheet was very sparse on key specifications I would be interested in understanding for an audio based device. If it does indeed pickup and amplify the 13.8 kHz noise though, then they should be able to use...
  2. Persistent High Frequency Whine in Cabin

True, I should probably do that. I would also turn off auto start-stop then. I see you have a 2025 BS BL (this should have the same EBB as my 2026), if you pop your hood, do you hear the same high pitched sound after unlocking/waking up the vehicle?
  3. Persistent High Frequency Whine in Cabin

Shot a video in the hood. You can see the 13.8 kHz tone start up as soon as I hit the unlock button on the fob. The headlight fans turn off at around 0:55, but the annoying high pitched noise is still present. My phone actually picked up the noise pretty well, at about 1:20 when I move my...
  4. Persistent High Frequency Whine in Cabin

I thought about that, but I think unpowering the EBB alone may cause the car to throw a bunch of errors. Don't want to risk that. I will certainly point the tech towards a process of elimination scheme like that though once it is at the shop though.
  5. Persistent High Frequency Whine in Cabin

I've got an interesting update. Went to a different dealership, the sales lady came over to my car and took a listen, and could indeed here the noise in my car! We then walked through the lot to a different Bronco Sport, and found it to still make the noise, but MUCH quieter than mine. We...
  6. Persistent High Frequency Whine in Cabin

Maybe I’ll try a different dealership. Although I’m not hopeful that there is a fix due to being able to hear the same tone in the Maverick videos. It may just be a poorly designed part. Likely scraped by their qualification due to being a sufficiently high frequency that most people cant hear...
  7. Persistent High Frequency Whine in Cabin

Ok, I'm getting quite sure now it's the particular electric brake booster making this high pitched noise. Part Number: SZ1Z-2005-C In these links, there's some videos of two separate guys complaining about a clicking noise in their braking. I don't have this particular clicking noise issue...
  8. Persistent High Frequency Whine in Cabin

I tried to bring it to the dealership, but three (predictable) things happened: They did not understand the audio frequency spectrum graph I showed them, pinpointing the problem frequency to 13.8 kHz They could not hear the noise themselves due to their age They thought I was crazy and hearing...
  9. Persistent High Frequency Whine in Cabin

Hello, I just bought a new 2026 Bronco Sport Badlands with the 2.0L - overall I'm really enjoying it, but there are a handful of small issues, the most annoying one being a persistent annoying tone audible in the cabin at all times. I've started digging into its origins, and I think I know...
