    I have noticed in my Big Bend that with 245/65/17 the lack of power makes the transmission suffer and heats faster making the system to fail and go on limp mode. I will try lighter tires with gravel grip. What thoughts you have ?

    Can you explain how it felt before diagnost How did you noticed the Torque Converter was failing. I have an appointment for a new transmission because it sounds like a grinding noise when shifting at low revs and shakes at low speeds shifts.

    Indeed I feel the same. I change my tires from 225 to 245 maybe you have a point. But another model has the same gear ratios and the 245 so the only way that could happen is that a factory tune came with the different tire set.

    I need to be at low speed because there are some rock and holes which would hit my underbody. After testing the area several times I could advance with a bit more momentum. But it is not a 5 mile per hour area. It is loose and has inclination.

    I think snow mode works different, maybe the system knows it wont hurt the diff or the axles.
