Ironically I just got my 10k mark for first service. Called to schedule that, oil change, and recall check… dealership didn’t even have a clue about the recall. But checked my VIN and sure enough, it’s telling me to take it in.

I am curious if the 15th applies to paper notifications, or all forms of communication.

Anyone know if recall notices are immediately available electronically?

i just went to the ford website and checked my VIN with their recall lookup. Didn’t “say” my VIN was recalled, but it had the announcement on the top of the page and “STATUS: INCOMPLETE”. So I’m assuming that to be safe, I’ll just have it checked. And afterwards, if I check my VIN again, the status will change to “completed” or something like that.
