Just picked up my Motion XT L earlier today. With a new baby and all of his stuff, plus our dog, space would have been tight for the 3-4 road trips we take per year starting with next weeks.
Based on local availability my choices were basically this and the Pulse M.
Suuuuper glad I went with this as only being able to open one side like the pulse would have made installs a pain. I’m 6’1 and can’t reach the far side clamps standing on the door sill. Not a problem being able to open both sides but I would have needed a 6 foot ladder to secure the pulse. this is going to be off and on they car since the it won’t fit in my small garage with the box on.
The latch mechanism is super simple and doesn’t put any torque on the key. the gloss black box matches the black roof real well.
