You're using a port at the front, right? Did you look at the fuse? Maybe a bad cable or device popped it. Could be fuse 52 or 60, 5A.

I haven’t looked at the fuses yet. And it’s a brand new cable. I plugged the cable into the cigarette lighter next to the USB port and the cable worked

Sorry, you lost me with that. It's a USB but it's in the cigarette lighter/power outlet. ?:confused:o_O
Unless you have a USB meter to check it, I'd look at the fuse.

I was talking about checking the cable. After the USB port wasn’t working I switched the cable over the the cigarette lighter charger next to the USB port and that worked. So I know the cable is not the issue

I believe his point was whatever draw was on the USB may have popped a fuse. The 12v port may have a bigger fuse and handled the load. Pure guess. But the fuse may be easier to diagnose than a dealer visit. Maybe.

If your fob wasn't in the Bronco with you, the USB port won't work, but the cigarette lighter will.

Was your fob with you?

Mine stopped working too. Was using a short USB cable and I think I pulled on it too much by accident when looking at my phone or something. Seems like the port is a little loose now. Good thing there's a USB-C port too.

As someone said did it have anything to do with FOB proximity/vehicle on/off? Just weird glitchy stuff on a handful of these sports.
No, i always leave the fob in my pocket. I was actually trying to drive somewhere far away so I needed the Apple Maps for GPS.
I been so busy the last few days I just been taking my GFs car, today was the first day I had time to try and figure it out and I turned the car on and it was working.

same thing with my drive modes, 2nd week I had the car my drive modes would say “ drive modes unavailable “ when trying to switch them. By the time I got it to the dealer it worked again

That's...just weird. Thanks for clarifying. I'd say something is glitching. Maybe the next time it happens go to your nearest auto parts store, leave it running and borrow their flight monitor/code reader. It might record a fault code for you.

I'm having the same issue. My fob was with me. I've tried several USB-A and USB -C cables and two different phones. I did pull fuses 52 and 60. They looked ok. Swapped them and still same issue. I have a appointment at dealership to look at it next Thursday morning, 7/15. Will update then.

I'm also have the same issue with the USB port. I've tried different cables so that's not the issue. Think it's going to take a trip to the dealer!

The same thing happened to me also. It will work if I use a USB C to USB C cable ( the upper port). It caused a few choice words from me for sure.
