Got my build date this morning of March 1 2021!!! Ordered 8/13, BL+BL Area 51 with tow package, cargo management, off road tires but normal wheels, co-pilot 360 and cargo mat.

It seems that the BL Package (on BL) may be making the dates of build further out. Possibly some BL Package parts not available until later???

I originally ordered the Bronco Sport Big Bend model (with a few additions) on July 25. Today I received an email from Ford that it has been scheduled for production the week of January 4, 2021!

Big Bend in Cactus Gray, medium dark slate interior. I also added the "Big Bend package", which includes other items I really wanted (door key pad, moonroof, heated front seats, satellite radio...)

I was late to the party and placed my order October 27th. My build date is March 1, BL+BL in cactus grey with tow package, cargo management, and co-pilot 360.

I wonder what I picked that was wrong? My order date is Aug 17 for a BL+BL in Rapid Red (although I think they may have used up the paint on all those F-150 and Rangers I'm seeing). At this date I hopefully will be scheduled for a Feb build because I will be sunning myself in Florida during Feb and March and I'd like to be home when it arrives .

I am seeing the same thing.. with all of the additional +Premium package. It does kind of make sense since the frame is actually different due to the moonroof.. and all of the additional options.

I reserved on 8/22. Confirmed Order on 9/16 with lots of changes... Cyber Orange BL no Premium package, but does have Tow package. Build date of January 11th.

Maybe this might help a bit? Ford just released the Bronco Sport this morning according to Blue Oval Forum.

Ford only runs dealer stock (demos, mannequins) at the start of a production run. They will not produce any retail orders (that’s us) until they run an entire week without any defects. When that happens Ford gives an OKAY TO BUILD and retail orders are released to be built. Nothing leaves the plant until the OKAY TO BUILD is given. And... “hurray” that’s today!

I just received an e-mail from Ford for a build for the week of January 4. BL A51 w/o BL package (further info in 'Orders' worksheet).

9.30.20 Order.

According to my dealer, I am likely to expect delivery in early- to mid-February. Covid is still making it tough, and, being from Mexico, the border controls may make delivery dates change.

I also received my info today that production is scheduled for week of January 4, 2021. First time ordering a car, so I'm not sure what that means in terms of potential delivery to the dealer.

I actually asked my dealer that exact question. He said from his experience it generally takes 3-4 weeks from build to deliver to the dealership. He said that was just a best estimate but from other builds they are doing of other current vehicles that is the timeline they are seeing.
