My 2021 OB headliner creaks when going over any uneven roads. I have a sunroof, is this the cause?

I've noticed this too after doing a little flexing on the trail in my badlands, worried me at first but it went away after a day or so.

This is a on going sound. Silent when on a smooth road. Really bugs my wife though.

Yeah I'm sure, it's definitely not normal.
Have you been able to locate the source?

Have your wife drive over the roads where the noise is most frequent. You sit in the front passenger seat and touch things near where you think the noise is coming from. If you touch something and the noise stops you've found the source. Noise bounces around inside a car, and sometimes it isn't coming from where you think it is. If you can't get the noise to stop by touching all the components around the moon roof then start touching things around the dashboard. The housing around the sensor components at the top of the windshield is a prime culprit. So is the SYNC screen. Push (carefully) forward and backward on the top of the screen to see if that stops the noise. The front seat seatbelt housing--the adjustable part--has also been implicated. Try sliding the adjustment all the way up or down to see if the noise abates.

If you feel your way around everything in the front of the vehicle then get in the back seat and do the same thing. Touch all the side panels on the doors, the seat belts and buckles, the handles above the doors, etc.

I would make your best attempt to identify the source of the noise before taking it to a shop.

Rode around and found the source. It is just slightly overhead on the drivers side. I can press the liners and make the same sound, which does sound like it's all over the liner. Now to correct it...any ideas?

The headliner is fairly pliable. You can get a finger between it and the trim piece, then just pull it down slightly. I would peel it down a bit and take a peek; you may find loose wiring, or fasteners.

Update: Headliner over the drivers side was taken down and the foam was rubbing against a fastener. The body shop shaved down the contact point and problem solved...and no charge!
Dope, glad you finally found it!
Thanks for the updates
