Dash storage tray

I ordered one of these for mine but have not installed it yet. Has anyone found one that doesn't have the stupid phone holder Part on it? I use an OtterBox on my phone and have no reason to stick my phone there. One large open area would be much handier. I haven't found one like that yet but figured I'd ask before I stuck this one on there.

That looks nice. Looking to start the interior mods after installing the rotors and helo wheels on the truck this week.

Unfortunately, I didn't. I already had bought and installed the other type. This one would have been more practical in my opinion. Moral of story. Shop around before you buy.

I bought it, but haven't installed it yet. I was waiting for temps above freezing to make sure it sticks good. For the price I actually bought both kinds to compare. I'll set them both in there and take pics for ya so you can see how it looks when I get home.

I have the smaller one installed. I keep a microfiber cloth in it for cleaning the screen. I used to put my phone in it for Nav purposes, but then I learned how to use CarPlay.

Didn't glue them in but did a couple test fits. Smaller one looks great. Looks like it could be from the factory. Fits like a glove but nearly useless for me with that phone holder in it. My phone doesn't fit because I use an OtterBox. The remaining space is too small for my sunglasses. About all I could do with it is put a pen or an Altoids tin in it.

The bigger one would be much handier, but the fitment is absolutely terrible. Doesn't line up 100% with the edges leaving gaps at the bottom corners by the screen. Doesn't have the right curve to it so the passenger side leaves a good sized gap that would have to be hopefully stuck down enough to stay. If it fit a little better and was higher on the sides to match the height of the screen it'd be perfect. I'll post some pics for ya.
