July 2022 Waiting Room

and counting………I’m so angry and frustrated over this, can’t even find the right words. I just want to know where my BS is. I don’t think that should be a difficult question to answer for us but yet for the powers that be, IT IS! No one knows. People who ordered the car have no clue, assuming it’s still in Mexico. Ford, people who actually made the car and stamp their name all over it, don’t really know, assuming it’s still in Mexico. Why is it sitting in Mexico then for 33 days?
no change on any of my trackers or emails from Ford. Any news from any other July builds?

No news and just as angry. I’ll look to see if they have the number to the customer relations center so the rest of us can file complaints. I don’t know the number because I was transferred there by “Alan from marketing” when I filed mine (fat lot of good it did me, but at least I know it’s in file and I have a case number).

Is that customer relations or customer service? Customer relations only files complaints, you would get a case number each time you called. They wouldn’t give me the direct number.

Happy (I think) to be joining the July waiting room. Last week I put deposit down for BS that at the time was expected to arrive the 20-26. Text the dealer today and he said its likely not going to be here tomorrow and hopeful for later this week. Based on this thread not sure what to expect.

a ford rep whom I called said that things would update after the ETA window passed.

I chatted ford and they couldn’t give me anything other than talk to your dealer. My salesman was out yesterday and doesn’t come back until this afternoon. Hopefully he is able to see something and let me know.

Ford Chat said that was customer relations but I’m guessing it wasn’t because they never gave me a case number.

Same here. I called that customper relations number and that lady was no help at all. Said it shows produced and would still need to go through Q & A and be released to ship….seriously. I said but by dealer said eta to them is Aug 1. She said it still shows Aug 1-7. I wouldn’t care as much if they would just give us a straight answer where we have a good idea when we will see them.

4/21/2022 Build week of 7/4/2022 assigned
5/20/2022 Build week changed to 7/25/2022
6/14/2022 Build week changed back to 7/4/2022
6/30/2022 Tracker Status showing "In Production"
7/8/2022 Modules Populated
7/11/2022 Visit to dealership to ask about status, given ETA of 8/9-8/15

As of today, still showing "In Production" with no updates. Hoping to hear something this week, since this is supposedly the Hermosillo factory's first week back from their break! If not, I'm planning to take another trip to my dealership on August 16th.

Mine is pretty much exactly the same as yours only my ETA still says Aug 1-7 per my dealer and Ford. But still no shipping…pretty sure my ETA will come and go.

@Hooligan88 I’ve heard that shipping can take around 2 months from when it’s built. So, even if by the end of this week my car is built, it probably won’t get to the dealership until the end of September or early October.

I’m trying to set my expectations low…I’ve always been mentally preparing to get the car by January 2023 ?

Yikes! That is really low..lol. Most people on here seem to have been getting them anywhere from 3 1/2 - 5 months so I am still hoping…fingers ?

When I spoke to my dealer yesterday, she said the visibility report still says ETA 8/8-8/14 but not to expect it until end of August??‍
I'm not sure how they can give any ETA without shipping confirmation.
