is it wiser to take advantage of a purchase now before $USD drops further?

B-but wait
not all prices went up
to be fair truck rental, smart phones and TV's went down
but that was just about all I could find with a negative value

My wife was in a catch 22 of sorts. Her lease was due in November and the tides are already churning. She started shopping yesterday knowing it may take 3-10 months to build anything. Walked out of her lease with an extra $4k in pocket and a new lease cheaper than her previous lease...dealer had a vehicle he had to get off the lot before taxes started killing him. With building pressure and uncertainty...a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush.
