I had the dealer do it cause was 200$ install and hitch was paid with Ford points. Don’t let a dealer do it. Do it yourself or you’ll get this crap. And my rear sensors were broken and they backed it into the space so didn’t realize until I got home an hour away. Didn’t say anything, just here’s your keys. And last is the tech.

It's a crapshoot letting the dealer do something like this. Honestly, it's not THAT hard to do just time consuming.

Honestly, if you're doing a new bumper DO IT YOURSELF.

You don't want them scratching or damaging it. Do yourself a favor: you have all the instructions I sent. Just devote 4 hours and knock it out yourself. The End!

Just left dealer after they replaced the bumper cover D/T their fuck up. Rear fender flare still popped out and the quarters. Rear gate touched bumper cover. More scratches into the panels. They acted like they were doing me a favor. Even service manager, GM didn’t see an issue. Obvious panels touching, paint scratched, chipped. It’s supposed to be like that and we payed to have it fixed is the answer I got.
Meanwhile I’m popping the panels in place as they stare at me. Fml. So literally fixing it in the parking lot while these half wits watch. Fucking gimps. How do people have jobs. It’s an easy fucking install. And Ford corporate is useless. Tell me to take it back to them. Been three times and an hour each way and is still not right. Still Ford hq is no help. Good forbid it’s an actual mechanical problem, I’d be screwed. Again do it yourself. Save yourself the headache. I’m also leery that they didn’t mount the hitch into the rails with all the hardware. Gonna pull and rip the ass end off. Just lazy work.

This is the shit ford tells me is normal for an install and sees nothing wrong with. Like if you’re upfront about it. I’d be ok. But to lie right to my face while your supervisor co-signs on it is despicable. Can Ford on here actually help. Because dealer makes it worse and corporate tells me to deal with dealer. Was also told they would refund my install but reneged on that too. Last one is one of the lines where the hatch was rubbing on the bumper. They never pooped in the center clips so the center part was higher and rubbing the gate. They also reused all the clips multiple times so now things fit loose

I would ask for the owner of that business. And ask if it is acceptable work that is a reflection of his or her company.
