As I mentioned in another thread, I recently purchased the Ford window deflectors for my '22 BS. If anything, it seems to have made the wind noise more pronounced, but that could just be in my head because I expected it to be improved and now I'm imagining it being worse.
I'm thinking my next step is to replace the seal around the doors. It seems to be coming from the top of the window/door.
Have any of you had success in replacing the seal and improving wind noise? I don't have any leaks or other issues and, I assume, this wouldn't be covered under the extended warranty - besides, it doesn't look very expensive.
This is seriously the ONLY issue I'm having with her at this point (going on nearly 6 months and 8,000 miles) other than a fog light being out. I plan to bring it to the dealer and have them fix the light, check the one recall I have (not the fire hazard one yet), and do the 10,000 mile oil change all at once. I'll hold off on doing the door seal if there's a chance it would be covered under the warranty, otherwise I'll order the strip soon.
