Hello! I’m starting this build journal to document all the things I add to my Sport.
Things I have already added, in the order I’ve added them:
Tinted front windows (dealer installed prior to purchase)
Ford floor and cargo liners
Ford sunshade
Rexing V1P dash cam
Cosilee Center console organizer
Bronco decal on tailgate (self made)
Things to come in the future:
Woolworth 1 1/4” lift/level (ordered)
245/65/17 BFG KO2s
Maybe future ideas:
Tinted taillights
Custom exhaust
Front skid plate similar to one on 4WP build
Woolworth nudge bar
Roof or hitch rack for extra stuff
Tune
1/1/21, leaving the dealership with 12.2 miles on it. At the time of this posting (4/17/21), I have 3,772.5 miles and averaging 23.5 mpg.
Front and rear liners
Cargo liner
Sunshade
Dash cam install:
Originally I was going to wire my dash cam into the fuse box and I still might do so, but it is plugged into the cigarette lighter for now. I ran the cord from the cigarette lighter, behind the glove box, and through a hole in the dash frame right behind a trim piece that the passenger door shuts against. From there, I tucked the wire behind the A pillar, going up to the headliner. Then I used the 3M backed clip things that came with the camera to run the wire across the top of the windshield and to the rear view mirror. Next, I mounted the camera to the windshield and plugged it in.
Trim panel removed, feeding wire from behind glove box through hole, up towards A pillar.
Close up of process.
The hole I ran the wire through.
Preparing to tuck wire behind A pillar.
Hard to see, but this shows how I ran the wires across the top of the windshield and to the camera below mirror.
Camera from outside.
Camera from inside. Anyone seen this building before?
Center console organizer. That’s a road Atlas between the seat and console.
