Any experience with removing the center B & O speaker cover?

I have a new BS with the B & O speakers. The dashboard center speaker cover has a defect in it that becomes very visible while driving at times depending on the angle of the sun and becomes hard for me not to see it. It shows up as black marks on the speaker cover. I have tried wiping it off with a damp soft cloth but no luck. If it was in any other place out of my lone of sight while driving I would just leave it alone.

I am thinking about asking the dealer to replace the speaker cover but I am hesitant because I a concerned about getting scratches on the dashboard caused by the removal and replacement of the cover. Are these covers easy to remove and replace without causing damage to the surrounding dashboard?
