Like when I had a muscle car and just wanted to race. I just want to get it dirty.
I used a trial version of onX to find forest roads. onX seems more entry level friendly. Just need to keep playing with the app. I want to go to land between the lakes, Mark twain National forest as well as Badlands National Park. The first 2 can be weekend trips as they average about 6-8 hours away. This is whats on my mind. Ive thought about a hitch winch setup for those times I am alone. Not sure if the weight and wiring is something I want to add on.I’m very interested in going here. I hiked it in the past and loved it. I’d like to drive some of the trails but I’ve run into problems:
1) I was told the Jeep trails (as they call them) will not open until mid-May
2) I am not finding a good map of where to go
3) I’d love to go with others just in case trouble arises. So I’d like to join whoever goes next. (and if coming from the north, we can discuss staying at our house if needed)
