New recall 24V683 updates recall 24V267 to include 2024 Bronco Sports built in Oct 2024

Issued Sept 13, 2024. A small number of Bronco Sports (76) were originally missed in the original recall that were built during Oct 2024.

2024-2024 Ford Bronco Sport

Descriptive Information : Ford’s team reviewed plant records to determine the population of affected vehicles. The Ford process is capable of tracing Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Software to the vehicle in which the PCM Software is installed. These vehicles are not produced in VIN order. Information as to the applicability of this action to specific vehicles can best be obtained by either calling Ford’s toll-free line (1-866-436-7332) or by contacting a local Ford or Lincoln dealer who can obtain specific information regarding the vehicles from the Ford On-line Automotive Service Information System (OASIS) database.
