Hey all--

Found out on another forum I am on these are currently on sale. I'm using them as a chuck box and general camping kit storage. Depending on how much crap in the two Plano boxes (that don't fit in the Bronco) goes into the two smaller Ridgid boxes, I may buy another Ridgid.

What I dig about these is the wheels come off the box so if you can stack the boxes in your vehicle and not lose space. Moving it from my basement to the vehicle with a dolly is nice... and they fit well in the bed of our Broncos. If you stack the two I have pictured they should also fit nicely under the tonneau on most pickups.

This setup was $99 at HD.

DOH! My bad.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-2-0-Pro-Gear-System-25-in-Rolling-Tool-Box-and-Tool-Case-254065-254069/322035708

Here's the thing: I bought the rolling tool chest (69.99) and the tool case pictured (29.99) here but not as the set. Separately they were cheaper in store than what was online, and the separate tool case isn't listed online but the one with the clear top and individual cups for parts was. I went with the solid one because it had internal dividers and the clear top did not.

There are several ways to attach bungees to the top. The chest is the perfect size for my Coleman 2-burner to sit on top, held in by bungees.

I'm still in a bit of flux on this as I narrow down my kit. I used to camp way too heavy. The goal is to get some sort of condensed chuck box/camping essentials setup where the only other things I'd need to grab was the tent, sleeping bag/pad, and beer. If I decide I need food... I suppose I could get that too.

Small box:

Left: Bungees, plastic repair tape, 100ft of paracord, duct tape, tarp grommet kit

Center: Folding entrenching shovel 3 inflatable solar lanterns, Nite Eyes Gear Line, tent dustpan, camp hatchet, folding shovel, backup headlamp with AA batteries, dice game in a tin

Right: Fire starter blocks, mag bar, matches, lighter, gloves, sunblock and deep woods off

Big one has mostly all camp kitchen stuff.

-Cooking utensils, fork/knife sets, tongs, spoons, ladle
-2 chef's knivers
-boning/utility knife
-2 silicone pot holders
-2 rolls TP in ziplocks
-1 roll paper towels
-mixing bowl, pot with lid, fry pan, collander
-SS French press coffee kit
-gallon zip lock with assorted sizes, trash bags inside
-camp hammock
-2 green propane cans
-folding toaster
-egg holder
-roll of heavy duty foil
-cutting board
-2 SS camp mugs

What I need to get/replace/swap out

-wash tub (mine won't fit)
-camp plates and bowls
-Condensed camp kitchen toolkit
-nesting cookware set

-JetBoil with French Press https://jetboil.johnsonoutdoors.com/us/shop/stoves-systems/flash-java-kit

-Jetboil Genesis Basecamp two-burner stove https://jetboil.johnsonoutdoors.com/us/shop/stoves-systems/genesis-basecamp-system

-Butane can with torch (makes starting fires so much easier with wet campground wood) https://www.amazon.com/Butane-Torch-Kitchen-Blow-Lighter/dp/B07FFNKQVD/ref=sr_1_8?crid=2UO37OMRSQ7ZC&keywords=butane+torch&qid=1706472049&sprefix=butane+torch,aps,86&sr=8-8
