Hello ; 2022 bronco sport big bend , flat front left tire , replaced with spare , got a deep grinding sound from the back as i backed up from a parking lot . tried to drive off an the noise got louder . took it in, they replaced every thing on the rear brakes . 3 days later after having breakfast with the family , the noise came back . Ihad 3 people in the back and they herd the grinding and popping coming from the left rear side . it has a traction control knob for sand ,rain or front wheel drive . Any one know what this may be ? It's at the dealer again and they don't know .

I have read some other posts with people having noise coming from the rear and said the noise would stop if they turned off the traction control. The brake system is part of the traction control system, maybe that's why the dealer replaced the brakes.
Typically grinding noise from the rear is caused by a failing RDU, there are a couple of TSB's that address the issue, the 1st being a fluid change and the 2nd being basically a rebuild of the RDU.
The dealer will figure it out, they have every resource available to them.

I'M hoping that is it , and thank you for the info . I use to be a street rod person , but the noise seemed more like barrens grinning as if one locked up like a wheel barren

It is possible one of the rear hub bearings is bad, that's better than having a bad RDU. Good luck.
