My 2023 1.5 liter ecoboost bs overheated last week. Not too hot but enough for the EMC to notify me. I Carefully drove it home. Next day the dealer said for $165 he'd check it out. Although I only noticed it once hIs computer showed it had overheated lots of times since Labor Day. I said I'd think about his offer. Seems its still under drive train warranty. I found it low on antifreeze. I refilled it with about 1/2 gallon of AF and purged the system. It seems normal now . What really caught my attention was the oil level. Having the hood up and wondering where the AF went encouraged me to check the oil which I rarely do. I found it low 2 quarts. Strange because I still have 25 percent to go on oil range. I've never had to add oil between changes.
After reading the forum I guess I sort of know where the antifreeze is going, water pump or head gasket, but where is the oil going?
