I have a 2022 Bronco Sport Big Bend with remote start via the app. It came brand new from the dealer with 4-button key fobs (x2). I’m wondering if it’s possible to purchase the 5-button key fobs with remote start and have the dealer program them or would I need to use Forscan? Is it even possible?

IDK, but my cousin bought new key fobs for his 2020 F150 b/c a thief had his spare and stole it twice. The new fobs & programming from the dealer was $1,200.

He must’ve purchased them thru the dealer. They’re about $60 online and I’ve had fobs programmed for about $100 before

Yeah, it was the from the dealer.
I've replaced lost/broken fobs thru 3rd parties at prices you mention ... but he was wanting the codes changed entirely.
Maybe it was an insurance thing.

FOB's can be programmed in the vehicle, no need to pay for that.

Not sure about using a 5 button FOB for remote start. Might be worth just trying it, worst case you have a spare FOB.

It might not work with a fob swap alone. You may need a remote start receiver plugged into the vehicle. Least that’s how my Acura was. Could use app, but had to buy extra fob and install the receiver for it to work.
