My name is Mike Haggerty. I'm 78, married, and live in Syracuse, NY. I just ordered a '23 BS Outer Banks. I ordered Cactus Gray w/Ebony/Roast interior. It will have the technology and Ford co-pilot 360 assist + packages. I also ordered a moonroof. I'm way too old to go off roading, but I bought the Bronco for its looks. We have had several earlier Escapes, and really like the design of the Bronco.

Welcome! Sounds like we ordered the same car other than paint for the same reason. Being in Houston I also wanted higher ground clearance than a coupe or sports car for when the city wets its pants when it rains, and the other SUVs all looked the same to me and I didn't want everyone asking to borrow a truck.

Welcome, if you can cut through sarcasm, it's a good forum, with a ton of knowledgable people who've been there and done that. Buckle up for the wait, it's worth it when the Bronco arrives. One of the better vehicles I've ever owned and I've gone through quite a few.

Mike, I'm a couple of years older than you. I don't do rock crawling but I have found plenty of dirt and gravel 'offroad' places to play.
