Recently my 2024 Badlands began acting weird. When below 5 mph it began stating the transmission is not in park. Ummm...duh? Then it was say hill start assist not working. However, the hill start assist did work. Also, the Saftey feature that automatically shifts the car into park when you open the door while the engine is running wasn't working.
Since it's still under warranty, I took it in and they replaced the gear shifter wheel and it still was acting up. After a week they fixed it, saying it was a bent connector prong. It works fine except it doesn't return the transmission to park when the engine is running. I'm ok with that instead of taking it back. Also, the double honk is back but I can fix that with Forscan. They did leave the on off feature alone, which I had altered with Forscan. Just a PSA in case this happens with you.
