I’m wondering if it even exists.

I have a dog/pup who sits up front with me, she’ll often rest her paws or head right over the centre console, and often hit the 4x4 button or the rear diff locker button, and sometimes turn the g.o.a.t dial. Is there a cover for this out there? Maybe a 3d printed thingy or something?

The danger is to other people in the road when your dog is in your face blocking your view or trampling on you causing you to drive erratically.

She’s got a harness and buckle, so whatever about those people.
I get it...working public safety I'll caution you God forbid in the event of an accident, your "fault" and responsibility escalate if the dog is perceived to be a hazard or cause of distraction/driving concern.
Love my dogs, but the liability isn't worth the risk. You do you, but I'll leave you with this...burden of proof is not in your favor. First question, cell phone/seatbelt. Second question was your pet secured. Take it or leave it. I've investigated and assisted plenty of scenes in 15 years.
