Body Side molding / Wheel flare Kit

Hi Can Anybody help me find nice body side molding to protect doors from dings etc, aside form the large bulky ones offered by Ford Doesn't have to be more than 2" or so in Black. Also read about some dissatisfaction with Fords Wheel flare kit. Do they work for anyone? Can't seem to find dimension of flair (2" or 3" or more)
