I miss CB radios.
10-4. I had one for years during the heyday of cbs. Early ‘70’s. I quit using them when they became unusable due to what would today be called Trolls. Just a lot of morons trying to stir up sh!t. In the eighties, I was planning a long distance road trip. A friend of mine loaned me his cb. Power from cigarette plug, magnetic antenna. When I got out on a long stretch of interstate between cities, I asked the truckers for a smoky report. I was told there were none, I could hammer down. Well, I didn’t know things had changed, lingo wise, and when I said, Thanks, good buddy, I got an earful of cussing. Seems that good buddy now meant some kind of homosexual thing. Ha!

I made a little video here on installing a CB radio in my Bronco Sport. Hopefully, some of you find this helpful.

Just got a new one yesterday and have it placed where I want it, but have to figure wire routes and hiding wire. I opted for a Wilson magnetic mount I have had for years due to the steel roof. They don't go well on aluminum bodies.
