The windshield angle of the Bronco Sport and the Escape appears to be about the same. However, the BS windshield is much shorter, and thus a lot smaller. By design, the Escape hood angle is curved so the Bronco Sport hood seems larger.

You can't see the HUGE difference? Ever cleaned the inside of an Escape windshield? I can barely reach the bottom of it it goes so deep. The Escape windshield goes much farther up the roof line and much deeper into the cowl. The Escape dash is probably a foot deeper than the BS. lol

Agree. I absolutely hated cleaning the inside of the window on my last Escape. Bronco Sport is an easy reach.

Even taking into account that the BS’s windshield goes about 8” deeper behind the hood? I guess it is an optical illusion. Just doesn’t seem like the angle makes the BS so much more prone to chips and cracks from rocks.
